Happy Birthday

Another birthday card for August!! This one is for my father-in-law. He is an avid outdoors man and hunter and beleive it - this is the closest thing to outdoors I had in my stash of stamps. Will have to fix that!!

Anyway, I used an owl from The Greeting Farm's Hoo Loves You set, some Stampin Up dp and some CTMH buttons. That's about it, other than a little sparkle from my Clear Spica Glitter Pen and some Glossy Accents on the little guys beak

By the way, I coloured the owl using Stampin Up inks and a blender pen.

Hey Girly......

This is a birthday card I had to do for another friend this month - I think I have 4 to do, so two down, two more to go!! I wanted to use the Bo Bunny Barefood and Bliss paper again, I love how the paper is perfect for backgrounds - it makes my life simple. And I must say, it was much easier cutting out this stamped image than the last!!

I used CC Designs Bikini Honey for the first time. I'm really loving these beachy, summery themed cards. I also used three of Amy R's sentiment stamps so I'm entering this card into this weeks ATS Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes and Anyone for Anya Challenge - Summer.
