Hi!

Hello there!! Happy New Year! I finally got around to making a card this year and it is for a friend's birthday this week. I've had this Lantern Rin image from Sparkle Creations since January last year I think and I've never had a chance to ink her up so here she is finally. I decided to paper piece her dress with this pretty paper since I thought it seemed a bit oriental. It's the first time I've used my C copic colours for hair and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch #149.

I am entering this in the SCRS Challenge #70 - Something New.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi! Hopefully my daughter doesn't see this because this is for her!! This is Cupid Emily - I won her from Sparkle Creations a little while ago and was sooo looking forward to making a card with her. I used this week's Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp Challenge Sketch #25 for the card.

I used Bo Bunny's Crazy Love dp again on kraft cs that was embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. And guess what! I probably haven't mentioned it, but my hubby got me a sewing machine for Christmas (Yahhhhh!!!!) so this is the first card I tried on my own. I've sewn on a couple cards at my card classes and was soooo nervous both times, I haven't used a sewing machine since high school, lol!!

I also used some little red Bella bling and some Diamond Stickles on her wings. This was a really simple card to put together but I love the simplicity of it. I think the kraft cards are my favourite right now!! The sentiment is from Hero Arts Valentines Sayings.

I'm also going to enter this in Paper Sundaes Challenge #51 - Circles.
