Sparkly Wishes

It's been a while!!!  Christmas has come and gone and I haven't posted any of my cards.  It was a busy season and honestly, I didn't create many of 'my own' cards.  I actually cased quite a few.  Sometimes, I just wanted to recreate (as close as I could with my stash) what I saw, other times, I just didn't have the energy to create something from scratch.  But this - this is all mine :)  I stamped and coloured him before Christmas (with a little help from Amy), but I hadn't found the right layout, and then I came across The Deconstructed Sketch #84 for this week. It was perfect.
I'm also entering this in Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenge #6.

For A 'Friend' ......

Hi - quick post of card my daughter asked me to make for 'a friend' at school. I tried to keep it non frilly as the 'friend' is a boy she has gone to school with for a few years.

I used this weeks Deconstructed Sketch No. 29.

The deer is a digital image from the Hero Arts Children's Christmas set. I thought he was soooo cute. The paper is Echo Park's Wintertime and those adorable little gems are Red Swirl Skittles from Your Next Stamp.

Ink: Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Fired Brick
accessories: Glossy Accents, Sakura Black Gloss pen, YNS Red Swirl Skittles, Inksentials Enamel Accents White and Black, MS punch, ribbon from stash
