I'll tell you a little story - see that canvas frame? That is covering up a booboo :) When I stamped my image I also stamped two other images. One of them, was a bit too close to this one and I really wanted to stamp this out as square as possible. Well, I couldn't do that without having some of the other image in the top corner. I was trying to figure what frame dies I had that would accommodate and then I remembered these: Crate Paper Designed Frames from the Maggie Holmes collection. It's coloured canvas and they're adorable and I managed to find one that went will with the papers I had decided to use. PERFECT, love when things come together like that.
And I finally used the Graphic 45 flowers I've had for so long. I think I bought them at Dat's (local scrapbooking store) before it closed.
The Bellarific Friday Challenge at Stamping Bella this week is to use Buttons and/or Bows. I decided to use buttons from my Basic Grey stash. And no card is complete without a little bling right? I had to add some Diamond Stickles.
I also used Mojo Monday's Sketch 368 for my card.

My daughter had surgery yesterday, in her mouth - one tooth pulled and another uncovered from under her palet (behind her top front teeth) and a brace attached. This will be connected to her braces, lots of stitches. She was so brave and she's doing well. She'll be back to herself in no time. I made this sweet card to cheer her up today. She saw me colouring little Lucy this week and loved the colours so I decided to make the card for her. I used Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers paper and my new copic markers that match perfectly I think. After I coloured her, I decided to use W3 on her outfit after colouring it to dull the colour a bit. I love how she turned out. I went over her hair with a Sakura black glaze pen and the edge of her dress as well, and I used the Sakura clear glaze pen on her shoes. And - for a little more bling, Rock Candy Stickles on her wings :-)
