So this is the Spring Hello There - Crop & Create Delivered Kit I received in March. The papers and embellishments are awesome!! So glad I decided to get these, I got the Christmas one too, they sell out FAST!! I love having it all in a kit, I don't have to worry about having or ordering coordinating items as it's all there. And if I find something I really like, I'll just order more :) I love that you get matching cutting files, page and card layouts and links to videos!! It's a fabulous package in my opinion.

Good Life
I wanted to share a fun project I completed recently. I actually got it done in time for Easter and gave it to me sister in law. It's pictures of my nieces and her. She loved it - and now she says she takes back all her comments about my geeky hobby!!! I love her :)
This was a My Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin Up - Good Life Brag Book. There was quite a few leftover stickers so I gave them to my younger niece along with the stamps since she loves to craft.

Hello
I have a confession to make. I have this issue, mostly when using my Stampin Up and CTMH stamps, to only want to use other products from the same company when creating a project. I'm not sure why, and I'm really trying to break away from this 'issue'!! Sometimes I like to make a card with products exclusive to one company, but other times not so much. And it's always the SU and CTMH stamps that I hesitate to mingle with my other products. For instance using a SU stamp and a My Favorite Things die would bother me but not so much when the stamp is Paper Smooches. Weird I know, lol. But I'm working through it. I am so not OCD but this does seem like it a bit.
This tag was good therapy for my 'issue'. The stamped Hello is from an exclusive stamp set from Scrapbook and Card's Crop and Create Delivered Spring Kit. I didn't use it with the kit :). The chickenwire background image is from The Crafter's Workshop. The tag die is MFT. The bling is Hero Arts that I've had forever. The eyelet and twine are SU. The inks are SU and Tim Holtz. The button, crocheted flower, linen thread and ribbon are actually items I received from a blog giveaway by Danielle Lounds aka Fat Cat Stamper. You can find her blog on my side bar. And yes, the tag was inspired by her as well. I've received a couple of her tag sets through her giveaways and they're fabulous!! I'm always inspired by her work.
It's been ages since I've used my Tim Holtz distress inks. So glad I did. And I'm happy that I combined so many different products for the tag. So many more possibilities :). I can't wait to get some more stencils and some embossing paste.
Stamps: SCT exclusive Spring Kit stamp
Paper: MME
Ink: SU Early Expresso, Tim Holtz Straw distress inks
Accessories: MFT Tag die; Hero Arts gems; The Crafter's Workshop Chickenwire stencil; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; SU Jumbo eyelet and Early Espresso twine; crochet flower, button, linen thread and ribbon from stash (Danielle Lounds)

Easter Treats
Happy Easter! Had to share these adorable treat bags I made for my neighbor's granddaughters. Everything used was Stampin Up except for the tags, those are my new My Favourite Things Traditional Tag and Pierced Tag Stax dies, LOVE them. You can see the piercing in the close ups. I had so much fun making these. It was my first time using the Designer Frames embossing folder too. I added some Wink of Stella around the embossed frame for a touch of bling, girls gotta have bling. The sentiment was actually punched out using the Word Window punch, but I didn't like the rounded ends, so I made them into flagged ends instead.
And of course my daughter asked me to make a card for her boyfriend, so I cased this, you can find the original here, Bada-Bing! Paper-Crafting! - another one who always inspires me. We thought the colours were good for a boy card.

Happy Easter
Oh my gosh!! My niece is going to LOVE this!!! I know I do, but I have to give it away, lol. I used Stamping Bella's Izzie is a Bunny, love the Izzie stamps :) Aaand I used up some more of my old paper stash. I got this a few years back from my local scrapbook store, it's My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary and I always imagined it on an Easter card.
It's funny, everytime I go to colour with my copics, I get a little anxious as I don't play with them often enough, but I just grabbed some colours that I thought would go and this is how it turned out. I was happy. Izzie's hair is my favorite hair to colour. The egg is covered in glossy accents and her dress and ears are all sparkled up. I even shined her shoes :)
I'm entering this card over at Shabby Tea Room #214 Easter Sweetness. It turns out the Challenge suited my card perfectly, polka dots and/or stripes and here is the inspiration photo:
