Maya Road Merry Everything Kit

So I said I would share my other present to myself and this is it - the Maya Road Merry Everything Kit!!  As the name implies, it's all Maya Road Christmas related products. I'm thinking this is a great way to sample many products that I might not order on their own or might not even know they exist!!!!  I'll tell ya - it sure adds to my stash and I can't wait to play. It also has free digital cut files as well. Now all I need is a digital cutter wink wink!!!!

You can find the details here

Crop & Create Delivered - Winter Wishes AND 2014 Scrapbooking Plannerand Sketch Calendar

This was my Christmas Present to me and it arrived in the mail this weekend!!!  (Along with one other kit but I'll show that in a different post!!!)  I've been a little obsessed with everything Christmas lately and since attending the Crop and Create by Scrapbook and Cards Today I've been planning my December Daily pictures!!!  That's exciting too. Except my book will be more about all my Christmases celebrated not just one particular year. And if I fill up the book I'll start another. So many ideas swirling around.  Along with the kit came some page and card ideas, sketches and digital cutting files to match :)

So here's what arrived:

And it came with the New Winter edition of their magazine.

Tons of inspiration in there!!!!  I also ordered this Planner and Calendar and again, tons of ideas, and everything came in one sweet package!!!! No excuses now!!!!!

You can check out everything here at Scrapbook & Cards Today.  The Winter Wishes kit is already sold out I believe.  Time to go play :)

Wish U. Goodcheer

How adorable are these!!  I enjoyed making them so much.....this is a Sweet November stamp called Wish U. Goodcheer I won from the creator Amy Young.  Not only did I win the stamp but all the papers, cards, envelopes, bling, buttons, snowflakes, ribbon and twine to create these and more!!  So generous.  She does this with each new stamp release :)  I used a layout that Amy Rysavy used with this same stamp and I used her stamp sets Winter Sentiments and Snowman Wishes.

Merry Christmas

Hi - I've got another card for my stash. This time I finally used my Kraftin Kimmie stamp Sending Winter Hugs. Paper is Echo Park's Season's Greetings and I used my new doodlebug washi tapes and sprinkles which I picked up from The Scapbook Cottage at our Scrapbook and Cards Today Crop & Create last month.  I love the clean look of this card and how quick it was to whip up :)

Congrats, from all of us

Wow!!  That's all I can say, Wow!!!  I attended Scrapbook and Cards Today's Crop and Create last weekend. So much fun and inspiration. Was happy to meet the teachers and, actually, this was my first time attending a crop!!  Boy was that a learning experience and I hope to do more real soon!!!  I took 4 classes, two using the Project Life method and I was really surprised how much I enjoyed them. Can't wait to work on my albums. One is a Christmas theme.

Crop and Create had a color challenge (below) and I decided to join since I needed to make this card for a co-worker anyway. Her shirt, the shopping bags and purse were paper pierced.

Merry Christmas - gift card holder

Hello!!  It's October 10th and I've made my first Christmas card this year!!!  I'm ahead :). Actually I have some left over from last year so I'm not doing so bad.

Love this card / gift card holder and I've decided to prep a bunch for a crop I'm attending in a couple weeks. This is my first crop!!!!  Excited - I've registered for a bunch of classes too, woohooo!

Here is a link to the tutorial for this card. Only thing I did different was I used a kraft card base rather than dp. I wanted it to be sturdy. I think this would be great to give a few packaged together as a gift for someone else to give and I have someone in mind for that.

I'm entering this into Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge #45.
Stamps:  Hero Arts Holiday Sayings, Amy R's Christmas Card Greetings
Paper:  Fancy Pants Tradition and My Family dp, Kraft cs
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black

A Flower For You

A friend and coworker of mine has been dealing with some really tough stuff the last couple years and she's recently had to take some time off work. This card is for her. I hope it makes her smile. I have to say, it's been a long time since I used markers or copics. I've pretty much been sticking to stamping so I felt a little rusty. I loved how the image turned out using my blender pen and the SU markers. I coloured directly on the watercolour paper just slightly and blended it and I was thrilled!!

Stamps: Stamping Bella Turtle Tots Picking Posies
Paper: SU Crumb Cake cs, My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Gertie, SU watercolour paper
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU markers Old Olive, Island Indigo, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Lucky Limeade, W01 and W03 copic markers
Accessories: Blender Pen, Waterbrush Pen, CTMH button, SU Summer Starfruit ribbon, twine, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Tim Holtz tiny attacher

Your Kindness Means So Much

On May 15, 2013 we lost my father-in-law very suddenly and unexpectedly.  It
has been a tough time for my hubby but we are healing and it has brought us
even closer. I made this card for those who extended so many kind gestures
during that time.

It was the first time I made a stack of cards and it really was quite simple with the Fast and Fabulous stamp set.

Stamps:  Stampin Up Fast and Fabulous, French Foliage and Blooming With Kindness
Paper:  Neutrals White cs
Ink:  Stampin Up Baja Breeze and Soft Suede

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!  We got more snow today!!  So want spring to be here already - not the muddy spring - can we fast forward to the green grass and daffodils spring???

My cards today were spring inspired - flowers and bees :). I found an adorable card on Pinterest which inspired my card and then I cased it since I needed two cards for Easter dinner today :)

This week at The Friday Mashup FM 103 challenge, one of the options was to give your card a distressed appearance. I used my Tim Holtz edge distresser on the Stampin Up Print Poetry dsp and I distressed the Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit and the Naturals White (my new favorite) card stock with Crumb Cake ink as well.

This card was for my dad and the cased card below was for my mother and father in law. You can see the original card here.

I just love these these bottle top caps from Stampin Up, especially after squishing them in my cuttlebug.

Stamps:  Stampin Up Collage Curios, Teeny Tiny Wishes and One In A Million
Ink: Stampin Up Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Raspberry Ripple (marker)
Paper:  Stampin Up Print Poetry dsp, Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green and Naturals White cs
Accessories:  Stampin Up bottle top caps, scalloped circle punch, Honeycomb and Fancy Fan embossing folders
