Valentine's Day treat box

This is so sweet!!  I found a couple tutorials for this - one for the treat box (click here for box tutorial) and one for the bow (click here for bow tutorial) using the envelope punch board. Since I don't have any dies or cricut cartridges for these bows, I was quite pleased.  I couldn't resist either of them. This little treat box is for my niece. I'll fill it full of her favorite - gummy bears :)

I coloured the little girl with stampin up markers and covered her dress with Smooch pearl top coat. Papers are the More Amore dsp. My favourite parts are the bow and the brad that keeps the box closed.

Hello Baby

Here are a couple baby cards I made recently. My Christmas present this year from hubby was a Silhouette Cameo digital cutter and that's how I made the word baby for the first card. I cut it out three times in white and once in the grey.  Not sure if you can tell but the grey one was covered with Smooch pearl top coat.  I kept it pretty simple as I wanted the words to stand out. Papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Ginger line and the twine is MME's My Caroline.

The next card is using Stampin Up products.  I LOVE that little hanger clip,it was perfect for the little tag!  The little elephant is embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder.

Crop & Create Layouts - finally finished

Happy New Year!!  I was lucky to have a good 12 day stretch of days off over the holidays.  So I got down to business and completed three layouts that were from a Crop & Create class put on by Scrapbook and Cards Today in September. This was a class taught by Kelly Goree.  I have a tough time starting from scratch when scrapbooking so these classes have really helped. Lots of product so I'll be able to make a coordinating layout for each!!!

Journalling is a challenge for me so I was determined to do this before putting them away.  I completed the journalling on two of the three layouts :)

All three pages use papers from American Crafts Lucky Charm collection and the first page also uses papers from BasicGrey's Mint Julep collection.

Well, I'm off to plan a new layout!
