Here Comes the Bride

I'm really excited about this card which I just finished this week. This is one of my 'Wow, I did it' moments. This card is for my other sister in law who is getting married on Sept. 4, 2010 - in Vegas!! And yes I'm going!! Anyway - I'm so happy with how it turned out! She is not wearing white, her dress is blue so I wanted to give Emma's dress a blue tinge. The Diamond Stickles really seemed to pick up on the blue as well. I got the coloring idea from Amy Rysavy at Prairie, Paper and Ink. I love her layouts and her copic tips really help me too. Paper: Stampin Up Petals and Paisley DSP, Taken with Teal and Pretty in Pink cardstock
Stamps: CC Designs Bride Emma and Amy R Spring Sentiments
Accessories: Petite Oval Nestabilities, Prima flowers, Basic Grey brads, copics, Stampin Up Scalloped Edge Punch, Diamond Stickles

Make A Wish

Here is a card I made for my daughter's birthday. It was not the card I had in mind but it still worked and I really liked how it turned out. I'm still working on the original idea and I hope to get it done soon. I used some of the same paper line for this card as I had purchased for the original card idea. I coloured the image with Stampin Up Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Painter.

Paper: KI Memories Sweet Life, Coredinations Textured Cardstock in Aruba and Kraft Cardstock
Stamps: CTMH Piece of Cake
Accessories: Nestabilities Petite Oval and Scalloped Oval, ribbon is from CTMH

Inspiration for this card came from Cathrine StClair.

Happy Mother's Day

This was a card I made for my Mother in law. I loved it so much when I saw it, I didn't want to change anything! I found it over on Two Peas In a Bucket by beckyjune. I used Basic Grey's Lemonade paper and brads. Stamps are CTMH's A Little Everything and For Every Occassion. I also used the Scallop Trim Border punch from Stampin Up. All the edges were distressed with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used Crackle Accents on the flowers to give them a distressed look and to make them pop a little more.

Winter Wonderland
