Hello Sweet Baby

Hello there :)  Today I'm sharing a super sweet CAS baby card.  I never have baby cards on hand and always have to make them when needed. I recently picked up this sweet stamps set called Sweet Elle from Unity Stamp Company and one of the sentiments was for a baby, the other for a birthday.  I decided on the baby sentiment and went with neutral colours so it would work for a girl or boy.

I stamped on Ranger's Distress Watercolor paper with StazOn ink and watercolored with my Distress Markers.  For my colours I decided to use these from Unity's {be inspired} Challenge.  I am sharing this at Unity's Friends With Flair tonight.

I am entering this in the Less Is More Challenge - Up, Up and Away and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Clean and Simple.

Supplies
Stamps:  Unity Stamp Company Sweet Elle
Paper:  MME Dolled Up, PTI Stampers Select, Ranger Distress Watercolor paper
Ink:  Distress Markers - Wild Honey, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Victorian Velvet, Pumice Stone; StazOn Jet Black, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  Mama Elephant Femme Frames, watercolor brush

Hello Baby

Here is one of the cards I worked on at the Crop last week.  It's a baby card for my sister in law in New Zealand.  The little elephant is from Unity's stamp set Could I Be Any Cuter and the sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Ray of Sunshine stamp set.

I actually used my sewing machine on this card with some silver thread!!!  Now that my scrap room is coming together I have a dedicated sewing table which has paper storage underneath.  I love how the inside of the card turned out.

I'm sharing my card over at Unity's Friends With Flair tonight.

Supplies:
Paper:  Basic Grey Fresh Cut, SU Baked Brown Sugar and Whisper White
Stamps:  Unity Could I be Any Cuter, Simon Says Stamp Tiny Ray of Sunshine
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  silver thread, Mister Huey Calico Shine Spray

I had to share this cute CTMH Make 'n Take card from the Crop last weekend that Donna let us make and our little gift was this cute little strawberry with a Hershey's Kiss inside :)

Hello Baby

In April I was at a local crop fundraiser for Autism.  While there, I created this card with my new Simon Says stamp and die bundle Baby Love.  It has the Baby Clothes & Crib dies and the Tiny Ray of Sunshine stamp set.  This is for my BFF who adopted a baby boy 'Joseph' in March.  I'm finally going to Minneapolis to see them in a couple weeks :)  Can't wait to meet him!!!  It's been a long, long wait.....

I used Stampin Up Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp for the front of my card and the liner of the envelope.  When creating envelopes I always wonder, how do I want the envelope to close?  I went through my stash and found these awesome corduroy brads that I've had forever - they were perfect with a little baker's twine (next time I'll add the brad before the decorative paper inside the envelope).  The inside sentiment is from Amy R's Baby Sentiments, and the little duck and hearts are from the Simon Says stamp set again.

While at the crop, I was commissioned by two friends to make them a baby card each as well, of course I obliged :)

Stamps:  Simon Says Tiny Ray of Sunshine, Amy R's Baby Sentiments
Paper:  SU Sunshine and Sprinkles; SU Baked Brown Sugar, Marina Mist and Naturals White cs
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, copics
Accessories:  Simon Says Baby Clothes & Crib dies, Hero Arts white embossing powder, SU Summer Sun Corduroy brads, The Twinery bakers twine, Uni-ball white pen;

Hello Baby

Here are a couple baby cards I made recently. My Christmas present this year from hubby was a Silhouette Cameo digital cutter and that's how I made the word baby for the first card. I cut it out three times in white and once in the grey.  Not sure if you can tell but the grey one was covered with Smooch pearl top coat.  I kept it pretty simple as I wanted the words to stand out. Papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Ginger line and the twine is MME's My Caroline.

The next card is using Stampin Up products.  I LOVE that little hanger clip,it was perfect for the little tag!  The little elephant is embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder.

Congrats, from all of us

Wow!!  That's all I can say, Wow!!!  I attended Scrapbook and Cards Today's Crop and Create last weekend. So much fun and inspiration. Was happy to meet the teachers and, actually, this was my first time attending a crop!!  Boy was that a learning experience and I hope to do more real soon!!!  I took 4 classes, two using the Project Life method and I was really surprised how much I enjoyed them. Can't wait to work on my albums. One is a Christmas theme.

Crop and Create had a color challenge (below) and I decided to join since I needed to make this card for a co-worker anyway. Her shirt, the shopping bags and purse were paper pierced.
