Like Father Like Son - 6 x 6 layout

It's very rare I get pics of these two together :)  I created a 6 x 6 layout using Basic Grey's Oliver paper and brads.  I haven't used brads in ages!!  The arrow sticker is from CTMH.  I loved using letter stickers for the title - something I don't think of often.

You're The Best - 6 x 6 layout

I'm really a fan of making these 6 x 6 layouts, especially when I'm feeling restless and want to create but don't have much time, just want to get something done.  Know what I mean?

I punched 2 different sized circles from the main page then backed the spaces with patterned papers all from Amy Tangerine.  I used a Vicki Boutin stamp for the title and added faux stitching around the circles.

I love the look of the layered photo.  Of course I had to add splatters of Heidi Swapp's Gold Colour Shine.

Find Strength Within - Tag

A tag I made for a close crafty friend after learning of her breast cancer diagnosis.  I recall seeing something similar to this but can't remember the inspiration.

Using distress inks and a mister I created this background on a manila tag and stamped some flourishes in the darker ink.  The flowers were stamped in black.

I coated everything with a thick layer of distress crackle paint and waited for the magic to happen!!

I stamped a die cut a butterfly on grunge paper and coloured it in with distress ink, attached some word stickers and adhered the tag to a black background.

Make These Moments Count - Junque Journal Page

A page of myself and life long gf from a recent visit for my Vicki Boutin Junque Journal - all kinds of koolaid in this one with her art crayons.  Did a wash of colours, then some stencilling.  I also added silver glaze through a stencil and some splattering.  Some fun layering of ephemeral from her first release.

Look at that shine!!

Live in the Moment - Finnabair Collage

One of my most favourite projects I've completed!  A class with Sharon from The Scrapbook Cottage - it was very kind of her to lug all her supplies 8 hours for this class in addition to the trailer full of products for her on-site store at our local Crop & Create Event.

We used lots miscellaneous bits of bobs and art stones were adhered down and covered with white gesso.  Several different Finnabair waxes were applied over top in layers to get the looks seen.

Hard to believe the page started out like below isn't it??
