And Suddenly You Just Know - Unity Planner Journal

I loved colouring this Angie Girl for my planner journal.  No washi tape this time, but I did do some ink blending through a stencil for the sky.

A bit about my planner process - I have several stamped images like below inserted into each month.  When I decide I want to colour one up, I just go to the month it happens to be and start to plan how I want the page to turn out.  Once it's coloured, I decide how I want to finish the background.  I try to keep the pages flat and not add anything that will bulk up the planner

Here's an interesting view of the back of the page after I've coloured it with copic markers.

Finnabair Rusty Treasure Box

I am loving these live videos with Finnabair.  This time we made an altered box with a rust effect.  So much detail.  A little bit of the rust goes a long way, had to be careful not to overdo it :)

The process :) - Again, it's still so hard to believe it goes from this below to the finished project!  You can follow along with her video here.

Vicki Boutin Junque Journal Pages

The first three pages in my Vicki Boutin Junque Journal.  This is the Kool-Aide :)

The first page has some gold glaze though a stencil and I used one the tags I made in Vicki's Crop & Create class from 2017.

This next page I used rose gold glaze through a stencil over the pink background, but instead of using scraping it on I used a brush and blended in through the stencil.  I also used pink ink to stamp some script.

Some smooshing with the art crayons and rose gold glaze through her script stencil and black ink for the dot circles.  The photos are also layered with her paper pack as well as the ephemera and washi tape.

You Are Enough - Art Journal Page

This is one of my favourite pages I've created!!  It's my first page in my new Dina Wakely Media Journal.  I had been playing with some backgrounds and her stamps and loved how they turned out so I decided to cut them out and create a journal page with them.  Using the burlap background was a challenge for me but I love how it turned out.

Here I was playing with the layout of the images.

Added white paint to the background then began layering colours - Night was applied over the white and Turquoise and Sky through the stencil.  I layered some washi tape over the paint and then began adhering my stamped images.

I added clusters of Sky dots with a fine tip and outlined the images with a black art crayon.

Imagine - Finnabair Sparkly Pastel Tag

You know how I love trying new projects and I love this type of mixed media.  Finnabair did a live workshop on their Facebook page and I followed along and created this tag.  It is stunning!!  So much shimmer

Here's a bit of the process, I just love the transformation.  I won't go into too much detail since you can watch it on her video here.
